Came by on a nice sunny day and it was fairly busy. The bottom lifts had the option of the normal chairs or a gondola. We went on the gondola most of the time since it wasn't as busy. Nice snow and really large area...More

Really enjoyed the skiing here. The Cardrona bus picked me up from my accommodation. I really appreciated how careful the drivers were given the huge drops just a few metres away. After a trip to Treblecone with a reckless driver, I decided to spend all...More

Recently visited beautiful Queenstown where we came to Cardrona for 2 days (12 & 13 September 2017). Coming from Cape Town we are obviously not used to snow so the whole experience really was something to behold. Nicole, our instructor, was superb. If you remember...More

Took a first-timer group lesson package (morning and afternoon). Our instructor, James, was professional and funny, and connected well with the group (8 of us). Good option if you've never skied before or need a refresher. For rental of jackets, pants, helmets and goggles, you...More

After a 15km drive up a very windy road we thought we were in Europe. It was packed (a few kids & beginners) but mainly skiing & snow boarding experts. Some accom on site, shop, bars, restaurants & everything for hire.

Spent a few days snowboarding at cardrona. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Runs are well groomed. Great for intermediate level. Saw a lot of kids, families, singles. Definitely one of my favourites. Will go back next NZ trip.
