Quick bike ride in and out. Signage wasn't very clear how to get to the fort, some cleanup from the hurricane seemed to stool be underway.

Hiking trails, beach, fishing pier, historic fort. So many things to explore. Hit it on a garrison weekend for an even more interesting experience! All for very little $.

Fort clinch is a great park with great wildlife, many biking and hiking trails, along with a beautiful campground. The fishing is wonderful and plentiful and is a great way to spend a day.

Great place to explore our history especially when there is a reenactment going on at the Fort. The most interesting part was the dentist office. How would you like to peddle to make the drill run? Great for kids to run around.

While St. Augustine steals a lot of the historic attention in the First Coast area of Florida, Amelia Island boasts a fort that, while not nearly as old as St. Augustine's Castillo de San Marcos, is actually a lot more fun to explore. Last May, we took our kids for their first trip to Ft. Clinch State Park and spent... More

Definitely a great place to camp! The Spanish moss and over arching trees were beautiful and gave our spot a very cozy feel. The fort was well worth a visit and there were lots of trails and wildlife for those who like hiking and biking. My favorite part was the minimal amount of bugs! I would absolutely camp here again!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the fort while learning about the history back in the day. Watch the movie at the visitor’s center before you walk through the fort so that you can gain an appreciation of how advanced this fort was constructed, in particular the water management system. It costs $6 per vehicle to enter the... More

Enjoyed our visit. Love seeing historical sights. Wish we could have been there during a demonstration or event. Beautifully situated--pretty drive in, and great views. Was a very relaxing pace, not crowded.
