It is a pleasure to walk out on the pier. Most people out there fishing are friendly and share their fishing tales. It is closed now for repairs from that last hurricane, but you can bet there will be plenty of fish waiting to be...More

Loved to walk the pier. There is a cost to walk out on pier. Maybe a dollar or two. But worth cost. Love to see what the guys are catching. Can be romantic at night.

Take a walk down this historic pier even if you are not fishing. There are very few piers like this remaining along the coast that have not been taken out by hurricanes. Hurricane Mathew took out the last 200 feet of this pier but they...More

It was still good to see this wonderful pier - what a beautiful landmark - I hope the damage can be repaired and the Pier be restored to its former beauty!!

Any update on whether or not the pier is open now for visitors? I know it is now a lot shorter than it used to be... so sad. It's my son's favorite fishing spot when we visit the grandparents - coming down in March and he is hoping to be out there. Thanks in advance!
