It's now the season and tourists abound. New massive mall type construction going on at the Riverside block. Shops though aren't what they used to be. Street is a more lively place and the additional restaurants are a welcomed addition. A Tip: Go west of Federal Highway for the after office libations/ dinner.

The only warning is that the traffic is a bit loud but there is a lot to see and several restaurants.

Not sure why, but Las Olas was significantly less busy than it had been. The upside is less traffic, the downside is less energy and fewer people overall. Seems like more empty storefronts than before, but the shops, galleries and restaurants are still great. If you're in FLL, this is a must do.

A very pleasant place to wind the hours away, whilst looking in great little boutique style shops or stopping in one of the many restaurants or bars. As the sun sets and the fairy lights light up, the entire street becomes quite magical as the smells of great cooking squeeze out of open restaurants doors, and the sound of differing... More

I was impressed with the art galleries and their exhibits. The owners of most of the galleries were willing to discuss the art and the background of the work. There are many restaurants to choose from and every type of food to eat. The architecture of some of the newer buildings is interesting. There are areas to park close to... More

Take the water taxi to get to this shopping area. There are many upscale shops and a whole variety of good restaurants.

Las Olas is gorgeous. There are boutique shops, cafes, art galleries, and some really nice landscaping as well. During the day, it's a nice place to walk around and do a little shopping. Later at night, the restaurants liven up and get a little louder.

The busiest part of downtown. All kinds of shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and historic points of interest, such as the Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk. Too much to do for one night. Great hotels are right there. River taxi's nearby and yacht charters are available.
