Took us a few minutes to disdcover how to pay for parking, but there are plenty of parking spots in the lot. Good beach, plenty of showers, outdoor workout area, basket ball and vollyball courts. Quite a few benches and some chairs.

Loved the beach, beautiful, clean and well maintained. Groomed every morning. Clean and many different types of people. Depending on where you are on the beach, could be couples, locals, families, tourists. So it is a nice melting pot.

What can I say, I love this beach. No hotels between you and the sidewalk, miles to walk, lots of shops and restaurants and great for people watching!

Great Beach , Water is beautiful, sand is clean and wonderful. The main strip is near Sandman statue. Great restaurants start right across the street from the Sandman. Has everything you'll want from breakfast at H2O cafe to drinks at Fat Tuesday or drinks and food at Sangria Cafe.!!!

We stopped here a couple times on our trip to Fort Lauderdale/Miami. Its a very nice beach. Lots of sand, cleaned regularly with a sweeper. Lots of extra activites. Work out areas, volleyball, basketball etc. Water was great. Rough when its windy, but a very nice beach.

strange to see people showering sand off themselves beside the main roadway.....very large, windy and unfortunately, dirty too, but that probably can't be helped with the amount of people on it .even at the end of November....still a very cool area to explore between the beach and boardwalk...

It is a very nice beach to walk around, play with water. Not so busy in most of the places. You can have quite time alone.

We recently spent 4 days on Ft. Lauderdale Beach! We enjoyed the white sand and strolling up and down the beach daily. We got to experience several different ocean waves and view lots of merchant activity and cruise ships floating by!

The beach across the street from the Atlantic Resort & Spa was beautiful. It was extremely windy on the Friday and Sunday, but Saturday was perfect and Monday was great once the rain cleared out. There is a traffic light and crosswalk right outside of the resort so it made crossing the street very easy. The beach was raked each... More
