Thank you to our host Bill Samland who took my husband and I on the guided tour. Worth the money to see why these buildings are founding statements for what is now a bustling city. Seeing how the land was reclaimed, built upon and rebuilt...More

A great place to visit with the whole family. The whole neighborhood is worth spending the day. Be sure to pick up some picture postcards when you make a stop at the Art Museum.

Military are free, but the exhibits are worth the modest cost of $10 or $15 if you want a docent. I particularly liked the exhibits on native Americans, mostly the Seminals.

A lovely park and look back into the Ft lauderdale of old. Interesting and very well preserved. Didn’t take the tour but enjoyed walking the grounds and sitting beneath the old trees. Saw a few iguanas hanging out in the lazy afternoon sun.
