As we walked thru the park and headed to the water we were amazed at the manatees we saw. It's helpful to have a great camera here. Enjoy the splendor of nature

This has to be one of the best bargains in Fl. It's a great place to take the whole family especially on a cool cloudy day. We saw so many manatees - 12 in a cove a one time. There is kayaking there as well which you have to pay for, we will be going back to do that. We... More

We were lucky enough to see a manatee during our brief visit to the park today. You can rent kayaks. There is a picnic area there. Only charge was $5 to park

Nice small park, kids activities. We saw several manatees from the lookout location. They have kayaks and canoes for rental.

Excellent place to visit for all ages. Fantastic educational program, gift shop, kayaking rentals and tours, butterfly garden natural habitat, and good viewing venues. If the water temp is cool one will see many manatees. Can always see tarpon fish and often gators. A wildlife wonderland.

We had a nice walk through the grounds and enjoyed seeing a few Manatee swimming about. Lots of informative signs and guides. Cost to park is 4 or 6 dollars.

You are better off asking locals for a marina location and you are able to view them for free. Nice park for walking parking is the only fee. If you visit on pay for 1 hour to see if Manatees are there. There is a gift shop at park The parking meter only accepts cash and no change.

Be sure to go when the weather is cool as that is when the manatees are more in abundance. Great programming for the kids, even kayak rentals.
