It is a pretty location by the water but you feel a little unsafe it is usually pretty empty unless they are having some kind of festival down there and there are a lot of homeless people.

Right on the Caloosahatchee, but sewall prevents going into water. Good to bring chairs, blankets for concerts, events, should be some shade trees with playground equipment for kids. Restrooms.

My husband plays taps every year here for the Memorial Day celebration. The park is always clean and well maintained. Also come here for special events like the Fine Arts Festival. Thank you City of Fort Myers for this lovely park!

Were there during Edison's bithday and visited this area for the Classic Car Show. Enjoyed looking at the cars, viewed the harbour area and ate the food stands.

Not if you park in the lot. Yes, if you park on the street where the meters are. The lot is not very big, though.
