Captain Adam has a nice clean boat and skills to show you how to hook some fish! I lined up a 5 hour day on the water for my husband and his buddy. They met at the Stan Blum Boat Launch at 7 am. First stop was to buy "four scoops" of baitfish from the baitfish boat on the St. Lucie Inlet. Interesting transaction rather than a land bait shop. Then it was off to find the fish! Both guys had a great time catching all sorts of species of inland fish. Captain followed the guidelines on what fish could be kept on size limitations. If the fish weren't biting in one spot he moved on to another. Husband's thrill was catching a white egret who swooped to bite the bait and also took the hook! Adam coached on how to gently reel the bird into the boat so he could remove the hook. Our buddy caught a Grouper that headed to the bottom and wedged into a space so as not to be reeled in. Captain Adam maneuvered the boat around in circles to try to pry the big fish out of his hidey hole...to no avail, but it was an exciting "catch" anyway! All during the day the conversation was light and fun with information imparted to improve fishing techniques. The days catch was cleaned and sent home with the guys. Both enjoyed the day immensely and will definitely charter again. Professional, but easy going day on the waters around Ft. Pierce.

We lost more fish than we caught and the ones we landed were whoppers. Captain Adam knows the area and tides so expect to be cranking on fish. It is important to listen to the Captain as he has advice on how to land the local fish that needs to be learned. Our Fish were cleaned, bagged and ready for the grill the same evening. Hmm so good to grill Freshly caught Fish. WE PLAN TO BOOK AGAIN SOON!

We had the most amazing morning out on the water with the Captain this week. He found all the 'hot spots' and narrated points of interest all along the way, plus we caught our share of impressive fish, all cleaned and ready to take home. This is the second time my husband has gone out with Captain Adam because he is such a charming and knowledgeable young man. Only small problem was weather changed and I was not dressed appropriately and Adam peeled off his jacket and let me wear it. Thank you Captain for another memorable experience in Fort Pierce. I just wanted to add to the last review and mention that Captain Adam's personality is ideal for this line of work. He was personable and patient. He provided sound advice as to what fish to target in response to our general desires and ensured that we caught some fish to bring home - the snapper and black drum were amazing! We have fished the flats in the keys but this nearshore fishing experience makes that trip unnecessary. We will definitely book another trip next time we are down. Lastly, his boat is slightly larger than the boats we have been out in before, which made for a comfortable ride and expands the accessible fishable waters.

My husband and I come to the area a few times a year and we love different fishing experiences. We booked a half day out with Captain Adam and it was an excellent choice! We caught mangrove and lane snappers, jack crevalles, black drum, sheepshead and some different species of shark. We also saw porpoises, a manatee, and flying fish in our travels - really cool! Capt Adam is very well equipped on his boat and is truly knowledgeable of the large variety of fish in the area. He knows where to go to target the types of fish you are looking for. He worked hard the whole time we were out, constantly setting up lines for the different types of fishing, baiting hooks, etc. When we got back to the pier, he filleted the fish for us, which made a delicious couple of meals! His prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend St Lucie Flats Fishing - we are already looking forward to the next time out on the water!
