I really enjoyed my first trip to Okaloosa Island. The area is easy to navigate by car and there are plenty of places for fresh seafood.

Great place to grab a bite to eat and hang out on the beach!! Restaurants are kid friendly and room to play with a few play structures.

We love Okaloosa Island and Fort Walton Beach for the emerald green waters, white sandy beaches and smaller crowds. Just be prepared for terrible traffic on your way on/off the island!

We used towels from our hotel room. There are people on the beach infront of each hotel who rent chairs and umbrellas. I believe it is $30 a day for two chairs and umbrella.
