This was a beautiful area. The fishing pier was fun and worth the few bucks to walk down it. The large Birds were fun to watch, we saw dolphins and many people were catching small fish. Someone told us it was a good time for large fish but pole rentals were available and people were having fun.

We went out on the dock everyday to fish. We even watched a man reel in a small shark! There is a small fee to walk the dock but it's well worth it! On the dock our first evening we saw a different shark and watched dolphins swimming right beside the dock! The sun sets are spectacular as well.

Came down for a long weekend! The beach is wonderful, clean sugar white Sand!! Very quiet & calm! Sun rise is absolutely breath taking!! I do wish the water had been a little more clear but the kids still loved it!! This was our first January trip but I highly doubt it will be our last!

Great place with things to do for all ages of people. The beaches were beautiful. There were times when traffic was a bit heavy but well worth it.

Very beautiful white sand beach. We opted not to go on the pier because there is a charge. It was a very nice day playing in the sand

Bring your own chairs and stuff during the winter. Not many people here and the beach is pristine and clean.

Beautiful white sands and excellent view if you are lucky enough to get a place right on the beach. Dolphins, terns, herons, etc. are abundant. Enjoyed unseasonably warm weather for December--70s all week we were there. Great walking to Airforce area which many do not walk as it is private but accessible. Got my exercise in walking 5-6 miles a... More

Beautiful beaches and a nice choice of restaurants to choose from! If all you want to do is walk along a beautiful gulf beach, you can do that. If you want a calmer walk on the sound side, you can do that too. If you're tired and hungry there are hotels and restaurants that range from cheap to that was... More
