We were traveling to Sanibel Island and happened upon this gem. This is a true lazy river and is amazing. The water was 72 degrees the day we went. We rented tubes with back rest and one person in our party that does not care...More

Beautiful sights, cool refreshing waters. Go mid week for a relaxing ride down the river. Ichetucknee Tube Center is your go to spot for tubes, kayaks and friendly staff.

Much has changed over the years (no beer coolers or rope swings) but this is still such a fantastic experience! Try and go on a weekday and earlier is better - we went on a Monday morning and saw exactly 7 other people the whole...More

Without a doubt, hanging on a tube and using mask, snorkel and fins the best way to enjoy the adventure! Young couples consorting above water is the human level entertainment some visits but the trees and underwater sites are always great.

This park is a must if you like nature and can stand frigid temperature water all year long. Best time to go is during weekdays, you can rent all tipes of tubes inside the park. After tubing you should go to north entramce and swim...More

It was quite enjoyable. The water was crystal clear and frigid. Rented tubes in the park just made it easier for our family. Bring your own lunch in a cooler and enjoy this awesome place.

This spring is beautiful. I’d recommend going in the middle of the week when it’s not as busy. It is easily accessible. You may also want to float the spring. It’s an easy float that lasts about 3 hours.

I am a Florida resident and have enjoyed this park for years. Whenever I have guests I take them to tube the river . I would avoid the weekends and holidays as it gets crowded. I am disappointed in the recent changes that the park...More

Yes! It would make for a great day trip for the family/friends. I would recommend trying to get there early so you can try and squeeze as much fun in before the ride home.

You do not have to ride the shuttle. The south parking lot is right next to Dampiers Landing which is about a 60 min float. Or you can walk to the mid point to launch. If you enter at the north end you can walk to the launch... More
