The trails were nice. We saw an alligator along 441 before arriving at the park. Tower view was great! Was disappointed that we didn't see more wildlife -- but will try again.

Lovely boardwalk. Natural vine swing and vines for climbing. My teena loved that. Great way to see wildlife in its natural habitat.

Perhaps we were here at the wrong time of the year, but it was very disapponting. The Chua trail was closed beyond the boardwalk due to the high water. We took a look anyway and went to see two other places/entrances but apart from mosquitos...More

Best approach is to keep a safe distance and wait until he moves away. if the situation retains for more than 30-45 mins you may need to call park patrol

The La Chua Trail, the main way to the observation tower, is your best choice. But it will depend on how much water is on the prairie. Sometimes you don’t get very far because the gators are blocking the trail.
