Ginnie Springs is a privately owned campground outside Gainesville. The company that owns it charges $15 per person instead of per site. Plus an extra $10 per person for electricity on the electric sites. My family of 4 paid over $200 for 4 nights and my 2 children were free(under 6 y/o). We went there for 4 nights over New... More

Went there with friends for a fun day to get he hang of Florida. Definitely the best part of my trip. Went for five hours but it was definitely enough although it would be fun to go camping like I saw allot of people doing too. Was one of the most unique trips I had done . Also it wasn't... More

Traveling from Orlando it's about 2.5 hours to get there but SO worth it. Arrive early to ensure you get a good spot to enter the river. We rented inner tubes and after finding a great parking spot in the shade, we walked up for 15 minutes, and splashed into the river. We floated lazily down stream for almost 2... More

The area is beautiful. But Blue Springs is just as nice or nicer. The billing staff and owner have no integrity and are very unprofessional. I paid the deposit for 7 electric sites. When I checked in, I asked the front desk if each family would be billed for electric so I could get my deposit refunded...they said "no problem".... More

Ginnie Springs was an amazing establishment for camping, water activities, and fun for everyone! We tried kayaking, tubing, and snorkeling! This was my first time camping trip and I really like that they have showers onsite. I would recommended getting there super early because it does get really busy. The prices are reasonable and they have great customer service! I... More

On our two week dive trip to Florida we started with Ginnie Springs. We decided to pull a camper and it was awesome. We stayed in GS Oct 24 and 25th. At that time there weren't many campers there so we ended up getting a nice lot with no one around us. Camp site #10 was perfect. From our site... More

All they care about at Ginnie Springs is making money. Prices are very high for what is provided. The customer service and experience are terrible. Every worker we dealt with was rude. The springs are beautiful but so are tons of other nearby springs, do yourself a favor and go visit them. We had a problem where the key to... More

Had a great day floating down the water. Perfect weather and done some snorkeling too. People were great and the whole place invites you to stay longer, Camping, BBC, etc.
