It was a wonderful trip down the river. Good information was given at check-in so we knew what to look forward to. Staff at Rum 138 were friendly and very helpful. Super exciting to see the bald eagles on their nest, two otters enjoying a fish lunch and a quiet rest at Poe Spring. Loved seeing over 200 turtles. Couldn’t have had a better day!

The people at rum 138 were so helpful. We were shown on a map all the good places to see and the best way to navigate the river. We took our own kayaks and sometimes when you have your own there kind of places are not very helpful. This place was the opposite. I highly recommend them.

I thoroughly enjoyed my journey down the Santa Fe. Did the 10 mile route and had a wonderful time. The crew at Rum 138 are amazing. Friendly, Extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. Merrillee went through the map in detail with me so I knew where to go and what to avoid. Is really enhanced my experience. I would highly recommend Rum 138 and would use them again anytime. They have good equipment and provide a lot of options with the shuttles. Also, they have very good Covid-19 protocols in place. I felt very safe.

We've done kayak trips with Rum 138 several times and each one has been a wonderful experience for our family. Staff is always friendly and very knowledgable of the river. They even clued us in on a few things we'd never seen before on previous trips. And their shop is filled with beautiful local artwork of the springs. I'm planning to stop in around Christmas for a special one-of-a-kind gift for my husband there. They are also doing a really great job at keeping everyone safe in COVID times. The shuttle was sprayed down before we got in, and only our group rode in the shuttle. Masks were worn by all staff too, which is something we haven't seen in High Springs recently, and are very VERY thankful they are still following guidelines, keeping our family safe.
