This is a great place to simply come and observe the natural world in south Florida. The pathways are clean and well maintained, there are numerous viewpoints and a gazebo overlooking the water. If you are looking to experience quiet nature in the midst of a city, come visit here. Highly recommended.

This is a very quiet, relaxing and beautiful spot; a natural oasis in a busy place. It is super clean and just so nice to stroll the walkways and observe this natural habitat and look for the wildlife that depend on the Mangrove trees and vice versa for survival. The boat ride was a bargain for $5 and very informative... More

The outdoors in South Florida and the weather are just beautiful. Anne Kolb Nature Center and area are very tropical, the staff are naturlist knowledgeable and helpful. The boat ride was enjoyed and informative. In fact the center was informative about the hole environment.

This was an enjoyable ride, although nothing was said about Anne Kolb herself, assuming we all knew who she was. It was interesting about the trees and how they got there. Walking through the trees was fantastic and looking at all the different fish and crabs.

This place is wonderful for those naturlist that truly enjoy learning about the natural environment. This one specializes in mangroves. I learned so much that I didn't know about mangroves. The views from the observation tower where awesome. The boat tour was well worth the cost and the captain was very informative. Saw many live birds and critters. All the... More

We enjoyed some of the walks at the parks. They are kind of short routes but nice views to the lake and from the viewing deck even longer. Really nice that there are these nature parks in Florida and nice about this was that it was a free place to visit. Remember to take some insect repellent because there are... More

Stopped by with the family on a lazy afternoon and it was a great time. They offer a cheap and educational boat ride that explains the local habitat. Also has a museum, trails, and many other things to do. Worth the trip!
