This is an excellent way to see wildlife in natural settings. A boardwalk winds through the park making it a very pleasant and handicapped accessible walk. Nice view of manatees. Park does some rehabilitation and volunteers are very pleasant and helpful. Very pleasant park for a visit. A hidden Florida gem!

We love this park. Very well maintained. Good variety of animals. Always an enjoyable visit for us. We usually get some great pictures and the park volunteers are very knowledgeable.

We were really impressed with this attraction, it should have been named Manatee Springs since we were able to see the manatees here. The walk around the park from exhibit to exhibit was quiet and pleasant.

Fun and cost effective. The volunteers really do such a great job by helping keep this place going. If I am in the area I will always stop by

See Florida wildlife. Animals that have been hurt or abandoned can be seen close up. Manatee's are one of the bigger attractions.

Went to visit on a Tuesday and it was busy but not over crowded. The wait for boat to get to the park is longer than the tram and you really don't see to much, so if time is a concern take the tram. We packed a picnic lunch that worked out well although there is food available if want... More

This place far exceeded our expectations. Afraid it was going to be a tacky zoo type of place but the state of Florida has made a wonderful outdoor venue to view native (except for the hippo) birds, mammals and reptiles. The enclosures are very natural looking and exceptionally clean. Great take for both adults and children.

The Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park in Homosassa Florida is a wonderful place to enjoy Florida Wildlife for about half a day. Native Florida wildlife viewing is excellent and Lu is the Star of the Show. The guides and narrators are quite knowledgeable and humorous as well. We have found that the most comfortable time of day to... More

We have been in the area for several months, but there is little advertising about how great this park is! We had family visiting and it was a cool day, anticipating rain so we decided to stay local and on a whim chose to visit the park. I'm so glad we did and can't believe we've missed taking other guests... More
