I enjoyed this museum which is free and open to the public during specific days and times during the week. I learned a lot about the area and the Indians who used to make this area their home.

Located within a small park the museum is housed in an historic cottage and once inside it is much bigger than it appears from the outside. On entering the first thing one notices is a unique circular brick fireplace . The exhibits, artifacts and displays are...More

The museum is housed in a former beach cottage. It has a number of interesting artifacts and displays describing the history of the area. This is expecially a nice way top spend a rainy afternoon.

I would recommend visiting this place with children 10 and older. It's a small place so you'll get through it fairly quickly. It's neat to see what Indian Rocks Beach was like years ago. I loved seeing the old swimwear.

Very quaint. A look at what used-to-be a little bedroom community, south of Clearwater Beach. Lots of odds and ends of Florida kitch, along with artifacts. This is what IRB was like before the McMansions took over.

We stopped in thinking it would be tiny and not much to see. We were very wrong - very nice volunteer spent close to an hour walking us through and personally telling is the story of how Indian Rocks Beach became what it is today....More

Do not let the exterior fool you. The museum is professionally done and takes about an hour to go through.
