The museum gives a nice survey of the history of this part of Florida. Of course, it's not a large museum, but interesting. Especially the photographs the 19th and beginning of 20th century Florida were very nice.

My family and I have lived in Inverness for years and finally decided to check this place out. It was really neat to see all of the history behind the old courthouse.

Great place to spend some time learning about Florida's history. The staff is very knowledgable and willing to share it with you. Has evening entertainment once a month that is very enjoyable.

Took my grandson and granddaughter to the Inverness Heritage museum and they loved it. They were very interested in the history and loved the Elvis exhibit where he made the movie “Follow that Dream”. My granddaughter wants to see the movie now.

This is a grand old place. An Elvis Presley movie (Follow that Dream) had a scene shot here. They have a small museum with pictures of Inverness when it was a small, sleepy little town. It is a nice place to visit and reminiscent.
