First Stop in Jupiter

Informative and knowledgeable tour guide shared a lot about Indian history in Florida. Not a difficult climb up the lighthouse...great views. Glad we stopped.

Jupiter is a place mostly for retirement.... well, at least that's what it appeared as to me. The Lighthouse is a landmark with more history than I would have thought. You MUST buy a ticket and do the tour; it's not a free attraction. We paid $12 each and the tour lasted about an hour with the highlight being at... More

This is a great and beautiful place to learn and see a little history. We had a nice guided tour of the lighthouse and learned the history of it being built, as well as some history of Florida. There is a little gift shop and a nice museum to tour with admission. Takes about an hour. Really enjoyed it!

Fantastic for the whole family! Very challenging for older people to climb the light House. The views are well worth it! Not to mention the history and the incredible landscape.

This is a lighthouse that is a working lighthouse. You have to be guided to the lighthouse with a volunteer guide. They diligently lock and unlock the gates that lead to the property and you have to stay on a brick path. Only one group can ascend and then descend at a time. There is also a museum and and... The lighthouse tour is definitely worth a visit. Well informed volunteers provide a good history lesson about the Native Americans who lived at the site, as well as about the settlers. The grounds are beautiful, the lighthouse is well maintained, and the museum is interesting. There are 108 steps to reach the top of the lighthouse, with small landings every... More

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum has been a source of delight to us for 45 years. Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum is perhaps 15 minutes north of our Marriott Ocean Point Villa. Today, following lunch, my wife has a list of Juno/Jupiter Shops which are "required shopping." We know exactly where Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum is, and spend about... More

We live in Jupiter and drive by this a few times a week. It's a fantastic view from all angles. The park around the lighthouse is very nice and the museum is pretty cool as well. There is a lot of history with this iconic lighthouse!

This attraction has some wonderful features. The lighthouse has a guided tour, and that is the only way they allow you to access it. We had a group of about 20 people. The tour guide did a great job of keeping us together, and explaining the historical aspects of the grounds and lighthouse. You are able to take the stairs... More

The docent leading the tour provided a good history of the lighthouse, but the highlight was being able to climb the historic lighthouse and go out on the balcony at the top. The tour also included a tour of the Tindall Pioneer house and admission to the museum
