The Riverbend Park is an ever expanding walkway along the inland waterway. It ambules along the waterfront in Jupiter. It starts near the Juno/Jupiter town line and moves from Aia to a mostly wood deck/concrete pathway which runs behind the businesses and buildings that front the road. It meanders along the waterway where you can enjoy the sites of nature(osprey,eagles,storks,herrins,egrits,etc.... More

We walked the trails looking for animals and hoping to see an alligator. Unfortunately we didn't get lucky enough to spot a gator, but we still had fun. The trails are packed gravel and we had no problem taking our stroller on them. Trails are shared among bikers and walkers and even a small section where they're shared with horseback... More

A tricky enterance (with construction in the area) but easy to get to and worth the stop. Relaxing walking trails with plenty of wild life and foilage to see. We observed different water birds, racoons, deer and an alligator and could have seen more if we weren't pressed for closing time. We saw horseback riders and kayakers as well as... More

A friend from Colorado recently asked for a suggestion for an afternoon hike that would be a snapshot of what South Florida hiking is all about. As a regular visitor to Riverbend(several times a month) I didn't hesitate to enthusiastically recommend this nearby jewel! Like the facets of a fine diamond, this park shines in any light. Canoe/kayak rentals, bicycles,... More

If I reviewed this wonderful preserve before it's worth another visit. Riverbend Park in Jupiter Florida is a hidden gem only a few miles from downtown Jupiter and less than 1 mile from I-95! We walked 5.6 miles on several trails on a beautiful day. We saw 3 deer, 2 very large alligators, countless exotic birds, a raccoon and 12... More

Lots of trails, a bit of the Loxahatchee River, canoe rental, alligators, peacocks and turkeys, just to name of few of the things you'll see at Riverbend (which is also called Battlefield Park). The battlefield is from the Seminole War(1830). Bikes can be rented, and there are miles of easily biking trails. Not really mountain biking if that's your thing.... More

This is one of my all time favorite parks. I ride horses there with my Gaited Trail Riders Group. I also patrol as a mounted PBSO volunteer in the park. Bike riding, canoeing, hiking, photos of the local animals like birds, deer, wild turkey, bobcats, etc. There is also a group of us that get together to exercise.

A sprawling park that is part of the Palm Beach County, Florida park network, with bike paths, hiking, canoeing, fishing, and picnic areas and adjacent Civil War site - the Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park , offers something for everyone.

My wife and I brought our bikes to River Bend park over the weekend. We packed a lunch and rode the many beautiful trails until we found a great picnic spot by a lake. The trails are not crowded, safe, and clean.
