Love this trail. Decided to hit up the South end, and we're blessed with the birds there. Especially the birds of prey. Saw a red shouldered hawk, Osprey, and Great-Horned Owl. All 3 had nests with babies.

My son and I walked the park North Side of Indiantown Rd and the trails were overgrown and poorly marked I don't mind wet feet. Maybe we were there at the wrong time of the month before mowing was done. We will try again hoping for better results.

Total Florida off-road and non tourist. Beautiful Florida scrub. I've hiked often.....seen a bobcat, rattlesnakes, possoms , wild boar and deer, depending on the time of day. Bring water and food. Rest and drink water often. Beautiful hking!

The North Side which we hiked was fun but may not be for everyone. I would recommend shoes that you don’t mind getting wet and long pants. The trail we hiked just had marks on trees through the woods which made for an adventure. There were a number of area with several inches of water we had to dodge or walk through. There were a couple of small creeks we had to cross. We had fun but this is probably not for everyone. We did about a 4 mike hike. It took longer then expected due to some of the obstacles. I would recommend bringing lights if you start later in the day just in case. We did the blue trail starting on Indiantown trail not to be confused with Indiantown Road. We did a bit of a loop for a few miles and then ended up back on Indiantown trail near the luxury motor home park. We then walked a mile back to the parking lot. We saw a couple of deer and overall had a great time. The water can get quite deep in the rainy season. It was only a few inches in January.
