Fernandina Beach is a long, wide, beautiful beach with gentle surf. It is not very crowded. You can actually drive your 4 wheel drive on the beach in certain areas.

Had a wonderful time at Fernandina Beach. Stayed in town near all the quaint shops and awesome places to eat! Loved the Farmer's market on Saturday!

Lovely time with old friends. Met up for food and beverage with friends. Pizza, pasta, salad, etc.,.. made fresh. Lots of beverage choices and entertainment for kids too. Pizza dough for them to play with and learn how to make a pie.

We very much enjoyed our visit to family here in Fernandina Beach as it’s very peaceful and quiet. The public beach is long and sandy. The historic downtown is a marvelous hidden treat so to speak as the town is definitely off the beaten path....More

I loved this old Florida town. Great shops and restaurants on the water. Normal tourist shops but also unique clothing and jewelry not chain stores. Enjoyed the Amelia Tavern food was great. It is also a microbrewery. Would go again.

We spent a few hours here with 5 teenagers. Beautiful clean beach. Strong waves. Water was cold. Maybe not the best swimming for small children. Not crowded. Public restrooms at the parking lot. We arrived at 11 and parking was almost full. You can park...More
