Don't forget you can start learning at the Cannon Beach first. Great for families. Be aware this place may get overcrowded on holidays.

Good amount of wild life so good for underwater photography. Not much of a current usually, so nice relaxing dive.

Went on a snorkel trip with SunDivers, on a calm day with some haze. Our 3pm trip was pretty clear when we got in the water, over the course of the hour plus trip the visibility went from very good to fair (the sun did get much hazier, which may have caused it). There were some big, beautiful coral heads,... More

Went here today (June 26,2016) with a tour boat as a first time snorkeler. It was so pretty!!!! LOTS of small and medium sized fish, Queen conch, tiny jelly fish (the kind that don't sting), even some crabs, and......a 3-4 ft nurse shark was hanging out on the bottom!!!!! I can't wait to come back again!!

We loved it! The water was crystal clear with an amazing number and variety of fish...we even spotted a few sea turtles. My 7 year old daughter and I snorkeled for about an hour before she tired out. *Our family chartered a little boat (very reasonably priced) to take us to the Dry Rocks as I get motion sickness and... My 18 year old son and I just spent the week diving with the John Pennekamp dive folks. They are top notch from the office staff to the boat captain, first mate and the rest of the crew. We really had a great time diving the Brenwood wreck, Molassas reef, French reef, and Dry rocks (Christ of the deep). The... More

We snorkeled at Dry Rocks late September and ours was the only tour boat out there. Pretty coral and lots of different types of fish. I don't really get the statue, but it was fun to swim around with all the fish, big and small.
