Actual beach in Key Largo

Now don't get me wrong, this is not the biggest beach you have ever seen, but it is one of few in the area. Nice public area on the Atlantic side, right on the ocean. No access to... read more

As long as your expectations are in check, you'll thoroughly enjoy this little beach park. $5/person admission since it was a weekend. A sandy beach on a man-made lagoon, picnic tables in both sun and shade (some near grills),bathrooms, and not much else. Perfect! Also iguana watching near the south side of the park.

just ordinary mini beach with nothing special. It was clean, large picnic area, shallow water for little kids.

Decent little stop for the family. Beach, small aquarium, small playground, and charters for snorkeling. You won't spend the day - but it will fill a few holiday hours.

With a mere handful of beach views in Key Largo, this is a worth-while stop to see the gorgeous ocean and rock-lined lagoon. Pack a picnic, and take in the sights.

Harry Harris Park in Tavernier is a great park for little children to swim or just wade into the water. It is short ride from Key Largo. The park has a tidal pool, an area of water surrounded by a rock wall. It is shallow but deep enough for scuba lessons by local dive companies. There are fish in the... More

We stumbled upon this park while we were killing time to check into our rental. $5 pp is what the sign said at the entrance but it was free the day we went. We fed seagulls out on the pier. There's a small playground & the restrooms are clean. Family win if you have young children.

We decided to check out as many state parks along our trip down the Keys, and Harry Harris Park was one of the best we visited. Nice beach area compared to others (Bahia Bay Beach was a disappointment despite the publicity of it being one of the "most beautiful beaches in the US'. Not so much.

During the week, there is no admission fee. Park is nice, pleasant beach area, not many patrons when we visited.

We always seem to have a group picnic here - usually seems windy! Not a great place to swim. Nice ocean view. Shade, tables available
