In 2012 the iconic boat the African Queen was restored for her 100 year centennial celebration. In May 2012 she once again began plying the waters of Key Largo and currently offers canal and dinner cruises. We go out daily at 10am, 12am, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. On Fridays and Saturdays at 6pm we offer a dinner cruise to the Pilot House Marina where passengers disembark and enjoy dinner in the restaurant before boarding the vessel once again to return to the Marina Del Mar. Dinner and lunch cruises are also available on request for groups of at least 4 people.

My husband and I booked our dinner cruise for our 45th wedding anniversary. It was a thrill to be on the Queen and the captain of our ride was very nice and had a lot of information regarding the boat itself. I may do this again!

My husband and I went on the cruise and were expecting to go up and down the canals. Instead, we only went on the canal leading to the ocean and continued on for quite a while before turning around and going back the same way. The boat was VERY slow. Probably suited for someone who had never been on a... More

If you're a fan of the movie, this is a must. Captain had great stories & scrapbooks on board were fun. Even let my husband steer!

We had booked online without glitches. Had an early lunch at Mrs. Mac's complete with cocktails. One other couple on our cruise. Does cruise out to open water, but is shallow if can't swim. Pilot Mike informative. Had photos of the boat from the film. Allowed my husband to steer. Steam engine with quite the ambience. Does supply water, if... More

This event was a treat. Everyone in Key Largo was friendly and relaxed. This was our first trip to the Keys and my husband wanted to check this out since the early planning of our trip. If you are a classic movie fan. Don't miss it. The captain shows some interesting pictures, tells some tales and will even snap neat... More

Fun little canal cruise. People at the ticket booth were very friendly and helpful and provided a lot of information about the African Queen and even suggested a great restaurant for lunch.

My wife and I spent a few days in Fort Lauderdale and Key Largo after having been on a cruise. A trip on this historic vessel was one of the highlights of our holiday. Being one of the baby boomers myself and living in Africa made this a ‘must do’ during our visit. Before sailing we were given some good... More

For anyone who loved the movie, this is a treat. Great history of the boat and the movie (and general conversation, too) from our terrific captain, Brian. The best part: each of us got to steer the African Queen as we chugged out to Florida Bay and back.

Real steam engine chugging down the canals and out into the Atlantic. You can actually imagine being back in time. Wonderful captain and great crew mates to talk with. Once in a lifetime experience and worth the price.
