My husband and I recently visited The Keys as one of our "bucket list" items. We were thrilled with the opportunity and wanted to experience all the "must sees" that the island had to offer. We had amazing customer service from our hotel, restaurants, tours.....until we got to the Key West Lighthouse. As soon as we walked into the gift... More

Located across from the Hemmingway House, we enjoyed the view from the top of the lighthouse more than our visit to the house. The climb is about 80 steps so not recommended if you might have trouble with the climb.

I am a lighthouse enthusiast and try to visit lighthouses in every area I vacation. This was a little tricky to find by car, but we eventually found it and walked here from our parking area. The grounds, lighthouse and Keeper's House are small, but very well maintained and staffed with friendly volunteers. The gift shop is tiny but things... More

88 stairs up to the top makes it not that high, but high enough to get a good 360 view of the city. That said, it's a little expensive for what it is. The museum itself is also interesting, but tiny and takes not much time to get through.

Loved taking the steps up to see a beautiful view of Key West. Worth the 88 steps even though I was a little nervous since I am slightly afraid of heights. All was safe and I am glad I did it!

I was so proud to get my I climbed 88 steps sticker. Once you get up to the top you can see a panoramic view all the way around from the golf to the ocean is just I may think view it from up top of Key West the story of the keepers family and the lighthouse through the years... More

We visited the Lighthouse, lots of steps to the top but once at the top the views were excellent. There is a small museum which was interesting too. The lighthouse is small so I would imagine at busy times you may need to wait a while to do the climb as you have to wait for people to come down... More

We were able to get some amazing shots of the lighthouse. I didn't go inside the lighthouse but I hear it is worth it.

Right across the street from Hemingway House. Bring your AAA card, will get a discount. About 70 steps to the top of the lighthouse, and it’s a nice view from the top. Inside the keeper’s quarters there was history and a short view of the history of it. There’s also a really cool tree on the grounds, next to the... More

Stopped here because it's a light house and we tend to like going to light houses for the great views.
