Right next to the Hemingway House and steps from the Southern Most Point, and we almost skipped it. So glad we did not. Previous, kind staff. Great way to interest teens in the science of lenses as two enormous ones are on display. The lighthouse...More

We felt like we had stepped back in time when we enter the grounds of the Lighthouse. You do have to pay to enter but the fee is not expensive. The view from the top of the lighthouse was incredible.

We were on a week long lighthouse tour and this was one of our stops. It was amazing to see the history that abounds from this place. If your in Key West take an hour and see the place.

Worth a look. Climb the lighthouse if you have the stamina. Great view from the top. Keeper’s Quarters tells the story of the lighthouses in the Keys and the folks who cared for them.

Always love climbing lighthouses on a beautiful day! 88 steps up a very narrow (typical) spiral stairway - so if you don't like heights - this is not for you! Numbered plates line the walk way around the top of the light house; informing you...More

Certain fitness level needed to make it all the way up th narrow staircase to the very top, but once you are there- breathtaking view is definitely worth it. Very cool site to visit.

I love lighthouses and the climb. This offered panoramic views and to really put Key West into perspective. The only downside to this attraction is the lady at the front desk. Another older adult who obviously didn't really want to work but maybe had to....More

During a day of site seeing, we saw the lighthouse from the Southern Most Point and decided to take a look. It is $10 dollars for adults to enter, but they offer several discounts. It is 88 steps to the top of the lighthouse. It...More

Unlike some of the other light houses this one does not have landings to rest on. I have a bad back and weak legs, and asthma, it was a struggle for me but i made it and it was well worth the struggle.
