Ernest Hemingway lived and wrote in this for ten years. During that time he wrote seventy percent of his life-time works. Today we operate as a museum providing guided tours every fifteen minutes from nine to five. The Museum is available for weddings and corporate events. Visit this National Historic Landmark, Literary Landmark and recognized by the Library of Congress for it's importance in U.S. History. Grand Architecture, Lush Gardens, Educational Tours, Book Store/Gift Shop and the world famous Poly dactyl (six-toed cats).

very interesting and informative. Lots of exhibits showing Hemingway and interesting side stories. The property has dozens of 6 toed cats around, they are very friendly. Make sure you bring cash, they do NOT accept credit cards for the tour.

Bring cash as they do not accept credit cards. No need for a tour but it gets crowded and the house is small, so you are constantly maneuvering for space and room to walk.More

We sell tickets at our entrance and conduct 30-minute guided tours every 10-15 minutes. We are 9-blocks from cruise ship dock. Much more info available at hemingwayhome web site
