Description:

Key West, the subtropical southernmost of the contiguous United States....

Key West, the subtropical southernmost of the contiguous United States. Famed for a population of creative runaways, pirates and brilliant groups of laughing people gathered to celebrate screaming orange sunsets. Legendary in behavior and design; the Key West lifestyle has long been centered around beauty, nature, and freedom. A sophisticated celebration of color, these patterns that represent decades of international residents and influence form a clean design that is joyful and cool-- that is the Key West Aesthetic.

Since 2010, Key West Pottery has been a dynamic creative space at the gateway of our historic and beloved Old Town Key West. Specializing in the making and curating of functional pottery and ceramic fine art, Key West Pottery is the Island's specialty gallery in the diverse field of ceramic art. Our gallery appeals to the contemporary, chic, and timelessly colorful aesthetic of South Florida with artworks that range from tea bowls to large scale public installations. We travel and explore the creative world and the connection between lifestyle and art to bring a connective fine art presence to our gallery and its visitors.

We warmly invite you to visit during your next stay on this beautiful island, we are open 10:00-6:00 Monday thru Saturday or by Appointment. Artwork can be shipped internationally, please contact us directly for custom artwork requests.

Thank You for Visiting,

Adam Russell & Kelly Lever, Owners

This is the home of ceramic fine art in the Florida Keys. Lots of interesting pottery pieces, generally reasonable prices. Worth your time.

We have enjoyed our first piece of pottery from this great shop for one year, so we went back for more. Found three pieces this time. The owners are truly gifted and love making beautiful pieces.

Kelly (one of the owners) was there working clay when we arrived. We loved everything about the store - her energy, the beautiful work and fun, creative pieces. Ultimately, we bought one large coffee mug with a rooster (a symbol of Key West but also a French symbol of good luck in the kitchen). A really neat place to visit... More

Skip the tacky tshirt shops, the chain stores, the made in China souvenir shops. Support a true local artist! Husband and wife team create the most original, eye catching creations from a morning coffee mug to a huge yard sculpture. Each piece is a vision of island life before gentrification took over and is singularly unique. Don't miss this shop... More

This is a small gallery on the southern end of Duval. We love pottery and collect some whenever we see something of quality. The owners of the gallery, Kelly and her husband were the first shop owners that we met on our first visit to Key West. Their warm hospitality set the tone for our trip, and we have fallen... More

I enjoy getting coffee mugs from local artisans when I travel to remember my adventures and support local businesses. The owner was awesome and told me their story and we even chatted beyond my purchase about the local scene and it was like talking to a kind old friend. The pottery is amazing I'd love to be able to come... More

We come to Duck Key (MM 61) every summer for about 2 weeks and I always insist that we make the 1.5 hour, 61 mile trip down to Key West simply because I love Honest Works Key West Pottery. The pieces in the studio/gallery are just spectacular works of art and my trip to the Keys isn't complete without buying... More

This is one of the nicest shops on Duval. It is what Key West was in the 80's. The have the most fantastic large pieces on display, but they also have very affordable smaller pieces that the average consumer could purchase as a reminder of their trip or for the local person wanting something original that didn't come from China.... My husband, daughter and I visited Key West pottery while vacationing in KW. Adam, the owner, was working and was exceptionally nice. He and his wife have created beautiful pottery that is a perfect rememberance to a great vacation.
