Visited in Dec 2016. This is a beautiful venue with adequate paid parking next door (be sure to display parking receipt on your vehicle dash to avoid a ticket!). We attended a funny play titled 'its just a play' and found it to be very entertaining and funny. The ticket custodian and ushers were very friendly and professional and the... More

Regional theater going can often be a gamble but Waterfront Playhouse has consistently delivered excellent performances of wonderful plays throughout its much appreciated history. Recently attended the local performance of Terence McNally's It's Only a Play and immensely enjoyed everything from the stage design and costumes to the flawless acting by the well calibrated ensemble. There's probably no need to... More

Went to Enchanted April. Outstanding performance. Very intimate theatre with only around 150 seats. Only about 300 t from Malory Square .... So you can see all the craziness and then enjoy a great play. Well go again

"The Producers", was one of the best Waterfront shows yet! It was an ambitious and lengthy musical, with multiple, lightning costume changes and a dizzying array of characters. The sets were inventive and very effective, the orchestra was outstanding and the actors superb. They maintained a fast pace throughout, singing, dancing and entertaining with unflagging energy, giving us a laugh... More

Saw The Producers last night - fabulous production! Enough to make Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick jealous! Love this theater - intimate enough but still doing Broadway scale productions. We make it a point to enjoy an evening here whenever we we in Key West! You won't be disappointed!

This is the biggest musical production the Waterfront has ever done and it is exceptional & hilarious. Get your tickets ASAP - They are selling out. The talented cast is truly remarkable: Tom Luna, David Perlman, Dave Bootle, Marjorie Paul-Shook to give a shout out to a few of my faves. Great entertainment for the whole family. NOTE:1) It is... What an achievement! "The Producers" at the Waterfront Playhouse is nothing short of amazing. To think that a production of such magnitude can be so deftly mounted within the confines of the Henry Woods Stage is astounding. Add to that the superb acting, direction, choreography, set design, props, and musical direction makes for a night of hilarity which will leave... More

What a wonderful, small theater in Key West. This was my first time and loved it. Small theater where any seat in the house is a good one. The actors were excellent and the play was well done and very thought provoking. I will go back to two other performances while I am here as I was very impressed with... More

Went to see casa Valentina tonight and it was fabulous. Not only was the story line very powerful but the acting was also. If you have time this show is a must see.

After seven visits to Key West we finally attended a play at this playhouse. I'm so sorry we waited so long. The play made the evening very special. The acting was wonderful and very professional.
