The beach is not much to look at. There was lots of ocean gunk on the sea wall. But when in the Keys you should at least go see it.

Enjoyed keywest. This city never gets old. Lots of history, activities, bars....full time for any age. Safe city.

Like everyone else in Key West we went to see the South Beach monument. There was a line to get a pic but everyone was cheerful and happy. Moves fast. Unwritten rule that the person behind takes the pics for the people in front. Moves...More

Neat Key West landmark since it's the farthest southern point of the US, but good luck trying to park nearby to take a pic or selfie. Area is always crowded during the day, so wait your turn!

This marks the site where back in the 1800's telegraph wire was laid to Cuba and the first transmission was hello and Cuba's reply was I can not understand you... LOL

It is a private beach and has European rules for sunbathing. It is not clothing optional but does allow topless; just like all of Europe and most everywhere except US public beaches.

Yes. I think they are $10 a day. But if your going to be there longer I suggest buying one of the chairs from cvs or Walgreens for 20.
