What a historic stop. It was well located and easy to find of course. We like to visit historical spots when we travel and the churches are fascinating. It was very open with a breeze and the grotto in the back was beautiful.

We went to Sunday 9:00 mass and it was one of the most beautiful sermons we have ever heard. The priest was relevant and it was a wonderful place to be. The children's choir was fun to hear and the church itself is glorious.

Just off the main tourist area, the interior of the church blends in well with the tropical island atmosphere. In good weather, with the side doors open and the sunlight streaming in, it's a beautiful sight to see.

Regarding attire, Key West is VERY casual, so I would think that this applies to church also. When we visited during the day, we were in shorts; not sure that I would (as an older woman) wear shorts to Mass, but feel sure... More
