People who take a cruise to Key West or fly here miss out on this amazing experience. Its one of the most beautiful parts of the drive through the keys. 7 miles of beautiful green and blue water all around. Put the radio up, the windows down and enjoy!! AMAZING bridge! Beautiful! Has a lot of history to be learned. The new bridge was opened in 1982. The old bridge still runs along the new bridge and we saw people fishing from designated areas.

No trip to the keys is complete without going across this bridge. I recommend a convertible of course as my tirle suggests.

Had a great experience on the water next to the bridge with a LARGE pod of dolphins. We also did a dive alongside the bridge in hope of finding sharks but we didn't see any. Overall a remarkable sight anytime of the day especially sun up/down. Can't miss it when visiting the keys.

After a long wait, I finally made it to Key West through the 7 mile bridge. Just beautiful! It is hard to take pictures of this place while you are in a vehicle. Keep your video recording device on when you see the sign for 7 mile bridge. Have you favorite music on and just enjoy the drive! :)

Beautiful views..... They have done allot of upgrades to the road. I love it because you have unobstructed views for miles.. And if you're going to Key West the old original bridge is on the right and sections are open to walk or fish off.. It's just one of the MUST SEE's of the Key's.. Enjoy!!

Not a whole lot to say. It's a piece of keys history. And a place to run around. Views are decent. Beware the loads of seagull poop. But fun diversion for an hour at the very most.

We parked on the south side of Seven Mile in the parking area and wandered down the park that runs parallel with Seven Mile Bridge. There were a few monuments and it was fun seeing the birds and kids fishing off the sides. It was worth about 15 minutes of stopping.

OK, so here's this 7 mile long, low 'bridge' taking traffic up and down the Keys. It's actually not very bridge like in the traditional sense, more of a raised roadway crossing open shallow water. Don't get me wrong it IS an amazing engineering feat, but that's it. It's a road and not a very exciting one at that.

We drove from central Florida to Key West. 7 mile bridge is a very scenic drive. It is located at the southern end of Marathon Key. The pic of the bridge is taken from the Sunset Grille and Raw Bar. Cheers!
