Camped here over thanks giving weekend. The Park is Beautiful with great hikes, a handy concession stand, docks, playground, observation tower and pavilion. The Campsites are very nice, most were huge and with some privacy. The Showers and toilets were very clean. Would be my favorite State Park if it wasn't for the airboats! So just to be clear, the... A lovely place to see Florida country and wildlife. If you like a good hike then I can thoroughly recommend this park, there are various trails from easy to difficult so it should suit anyone.

If you're looking for a place to unwind, you'll find that place at Kissimmee State Park. Picnicking, camping, hiking, fishing, or just relaxing--this place has it all. There is also a small store on the premises staffed with smiling faces. If you're looking for a break from the "rat race," try Kissimmee State Park.

Great trails to walk on, beautiful trees. plenty of places to picnic. You can rent canoes to go on the lake. Plenty of scenery, many different birds to see and an all around good place to go with the family for the day. Also has a campground and RV hookups if you would like to stay the night. Great park

This park is a hidden gem in the state park system. Each camper space is private and shady. The park is a beautiful eco system of the original piney woods of Florida. We saw so many wild animals, and birds. There is access to the lakes for fishing, and the marshes for bird watching. No ambient light at night, so... More

Wish they had a pool there or something. No cell service. It was very quiet though. Went into the general store and very little in there at all. It was nearly empty. It was a pretty place but I like stuff to do when I camp. Probably fishing is enough for some. Just not enough for us.

Nice surprise taking a detour on the way home from a trip to Vero a Beach. Beautiful ranch country and then the park with its Florida pine woods, Palm scrub, prairie and lakes. Huge open spaces around the lake, endless vistas. Can't wait to return with a tent and canoe to fish. Nice for bringing bikes too. The camping spaces... More

We enjoyed spending time in nature away from the amusement parks! We saw deer, eagles, turtles, and beautiful scenery. Jeff who runs the Segway tours is very informative and helpful. We would go back when in the area.

Our family has visited this park many times over the years and not disappointed--great place for camping, walking, family reunions, large or small groups. We usually see varieties of wildlife, deer, rabbits, birds, squirrels. Picnic area with shade- children's play area, shade trees
