Lake Kissimmee State Park is by far, one of our favorite state park in Florida. The sites are all very private and very clean. Love watching the wild life. Didn't use the restrooms this time but in the past, they were ok. Nice that the...More

This park is very nice, peaceful and well maintained. If you like nature, there are a lot of things to do for you and your kids...or just relax, be lazy, and enjoy the day and scenery. Some of the activities are: camping, fishing, kayaking, horseshoe...More

I am not a camper, but when a cracker cowboy steps into this park on the weekend, it becomes an 1841 cow camp. Not a lot to do, but yet a lot of history and don't step on the wildlife. You have miles of hiking...More

My husband and I take our bikes and ride thriugh the entire park. We usually see a deer or two, eagles, osprey, turkey, snakes, etc. It is truly a quiet place to get away for a day or just a few hours. They have clean...More

Was looking for some woodsy-style camping, and this park fit the bill. The campsites were reasonably secluded, with water and electric hookups, and a clean shower house. The park itself didn't have a lot to offer. There are three main trails, but most of the...More

I have gone camping at many Florida state parks, and I absolutely loved this one! This is the best campsite I have ever had. We were in site 60 because it was the last one available, and I truly believe it’s the best site there....More

Went here to fish although water level was somewhat low at this time and didn’t catch a thing I thoroughly enjoyed myself with friends and family. Quiet, clean and beautiful.

This is an exceptional state park. The habitat is in great shape due to frequent burning. The trails are a great example of flatwoods. The dock area, children’s play area and observation tower area has something for everyone.

Kissimmee State Park is a lovely preserve etched with plenty of natural habitat for the hiker, biker, driver, boater, or motorcylist. The real Florida can be explored here. We came upon this treat while out exploring and were happy to find it tucked away. It...More
