A flea market several days a week!!
Apr 2019 • Friends
We went to the flea market there twice in 7 days, there is pretty much everything you could want there and they are ready to barter too! There is fresh made spanish/mexican food there too along with many fresh made fruit juices!
On our first day there, I walked out of there with a small rolling suitcase, like new, 3 pair of brand new socks, a new bathing suit, earrings and like new sandals and I spent $10 for it all!! My 2nd day there I bought another new bathing suit, 3 sets of earrings, 2 were brand new, a mood ring, 2 dvds and a Lynryd Skynyrd tank top and I spent $12!
I enjoyed it and I would suggest spending an hr or a two there, who knows what kind of treasures you may end up finding there!

Drive In Movie!
Nov 2018 • Couples
Title says it all.. This is a drive in movie theater! Only $7 for adults and $2 for kids. We brought our own food and drinks and had a great time watch the newly released marvel movie called Venom.

It's worth it to check it out and keep returning for more great movies.

Drive In Movies Nearby!
Jun 2017 • Family
We love this place. We have 3 teenage/tween boys. It is getting harder to do activities that we all enjoy. Drive in movies are on the short list! You get 2 movies (if you want to stay for both) for one price ($7/adult, $2/child under 12). There are 2 screens. Sometimes one movie plays on both screens (one time early, one time late). But usually there is a good pair. We don't mind staying for just one if we have already seen the other. It is easy to exit if you want to. (Just look our for pedestrians...). We usually bring lawn chairs and set them up right behind our car. Our last visit was with 5 families who all parked together and set up chairs together. The kids set up a blanket up close. You do have to use your own audio through a radio station. Most people use their car radios. But you can also bring a portable battery powered radio and tune that.

There is a small concession stand. They sell popcorn, candy, soda, etc. There are some tables there too. The bathrooms are not the best (think camping restrooms) but they are available.

And if you are so inclined, this location is also used for a flea market Thurs/Sat/Sun/Mon.

fun way to watch a movie
Jun 2017 • Family
I went with my 2 younger children, my sister and her 2 kids. This was our first time to a drive in so we were a little under prepared for the movie. I had a crossover suv so we opened the trunk, put the back seats down and that was where we sat for the movie. after looking around at the set ups of some of the others I wish we had brought our beach chairs and some pillows for the kids but as first timers we didnt know what to expect and I figured it was easier opening the back than sitting in the car seats for 2 hours. The movie comes through your speakers as you tune into their station. There is a snack bar in the back of the lot but you can bring your own snacks and drinks. People had lawn chairs, some set themselves up in the back of pickup trucks and hooked radios up to tune into the movie. Some had bean bag chairs. I definitely know how to prepare for the next time we go to a drive in. The kids had an absolute blast. They loved sitting outside watching a movie on a huge projection screen. I definitely look forward to seeing another movie in the drive in. Oh and did i mention its super inexpensive. $7 for adults and $2 for kids. perfect! definately beats paying double that to sit in a theater with overpriced drinks and popcorn where your shushed if your kid makes noise.

Glad to see. Brings back memories. As a child, my family of five children, would climb in the car and go to the drive-in movies. Popcorn, sodas, and a king size candy bar and we were happy as can be. Oh and I forgot, we were in our pajamas.

I've hear the negative, now for some positive...
Apr 2016 • Family
There are several negative reviews for this old drive=in movie theater. I'm here to give some positives. For one, it exists! Not many around anymore, anywhere. Two, it is huge. You have two screens to choose a movie. You can watch two movies if you want. There is plenty of room to park, though the parking is on gravel, by and large. There is a great concession stand, with many tables/picnic tables, chairs to sit at and watch the movie, if you don't want to sit in your car. Three, the price isn't bad for a large metropolitan area.

Many bring chairs to set up outside their trucks or cars. You can grill your own dinner if you want, we saw several doing so, but I'd check with the theater before attempting it. But you can bring your own food into the place and not hide it!

Security drove around the entire time we were there. Never saw or heard of any trouble. Not saying it doesn't happen, but we haven't seen any trouble in the times we have been there.
