What a great place to photograph birds. Swans on the lake, ibis, storks, ducks, coots, mudhens, all on the grass and not afraid of people. Don't feed them bread, though. There are signs saying it will make them ill, but lots of people were feeding...More

There's a nice walking path and, of course, the swans are beautiful. It's surrounded by the city but it's tranquil there.

If you are into nature and love animals, this is the place to be. Beautiful swans and beautiful scenery for pictures. This lake is well taken care of and the neighboring surroundings show lots of love to the community.

This is really a lovely inner-city lake that’s just plain fun to visit. During our short stay in the area we came back three times just to watch and enjoy the swans and other Florida feathered wildlife that inhabits the lake.

We love Lake Morton. The best part is all the different birds. Feeding them is so much fun, they swarm around you and follow you, including the swans. It’s a little intimidating at first because some of them are so large, but they seem used...More

Great place if you are in Lakeland to feed the birds. This lake is famous for swans, ducks and a multiple range of foul. I grew up there and it is fun. The birds know when you walk up that you are there to feed...More

That’s too bad about people still feeding white bread to the feathered wildlife that inhabit Lake Morton. More signs probably won’t help much. Am afraid there will always someone who doesn’t care. We have the same problem in... More
