I can't get my head around why you should have to pay for entering the pier. And I can't see that it was worth it.

I enjoyed walking under and around the pier each day during my 10 day visit to Lauderdale By The Sea. Had some Fish and Chips at The Organic Cafe and very much enjoyed listening to the music while I ate.

Could not go far. You have to pay to sight see from this pier. Not too accommodating for a simple tourist. Not realistic to us!

Every chance i get, grab a fresh squeezed oj and rum at anglins cafe, spend 2$ for pier walk and thoroughly enjoy salt air.

Currently almost half the length of the pier is closed for construction. You still get some nice coastal views and pictures, just be forwarned.

Very popular for fishing, attracts a lot of wildlife birds great for close up pictures. Looking to the horizon gives you the feeling of being inside a snow globe. Loved it

The pier was nice, except the fact that half of it was closed due to reconstruction. There were lots of fish swimming around it when you looked over the side. And always your friendly pelican waiting for a bit of food
