Blue Springs is a slice of heaven on earth. Great hiking, camping, canoeing and snorkeling and swimming. The long hike is beautiful and takes you through several diverse ecosystems.

Beautiful spring pumping out cold, clear, clean, swimmin' hole water. Park has improved over years, some rv, some camping, some primitive. Erosion control and safety concerns have eliminated jumping in from old platform or trees, but it will help preserve it. Park is along withlacoochee...More

Very short walk from parking at the entrance-end of the park. There are steps to negotiate on the way down.

No age requirements, there are shallow, sandy beach like areas, also. There is no lifeguard.
