We stopped here while in the area and although it is a beautiful serene state park, the springs are really for divers--not swimmers or really snorkelers. The road back is dirt/sand and in some places very rough. Highly recommend for divers but for swimmers or...More

One of my husbands favorite places to dive. Many different caves/lines (upper and lower Orange Grove, P1, P3, etc) it's hard to pick a favorite. Open water divers are allowed only in Orange Grove Sink, but snorkelers and swimmers are allowed in both Orange Grove...More

This state park is a great place for those wanting to Hike down to the Swanee River or Dive. Peacock is secluded. If you are diving, The Dive Outpost is nearby for equipment and gas. Porta Potties are on site.

Very cool interpretive trails that follow the cave system. May not be the best place to visit for swimming/snorkeling sometimes the surface water is algae covered.

Great places to dive, if you don't mind a few spots with duckweed. Entrance fee is $4.00 per day and includes all of the diving you can do.

I absolutely love Peacock Springs. I've done the bulk of my cave training here, and to this day it is still my favorite place to dive that I've been thus far. The $4 per vehicle entry fee is super cheap and Dive Outpost is right...More

Open water divers are allowed to dive in Orange Grove sink (with no dive lights), but otherwise you must be a cavern/cave diver to dive at Peacock.
