I love this beach! It's beautiful, easy to get to, little beach traffic. Lots of parking at public beach, changing huts, restrooms, foot showers, picnic tables in the shade. It also has a little bar/grill there. I love that when you're in the water you're looking at trees rather than condos or houses. It's just absolutely stunning! There is also... More

We always go to this beach on our yearly vacation. We love this beach!! The white sand is super soft, it's a great place to lay in the sun, swim or go for a walk.

This is an awesome beach, beautiful clean water, We saw some manatees swim by while we were wading. The life guards keep things safe. Plenty of parking, picinic tables, barbque grills clean bathrooms, changing stations, all free and easy to get to.

Coquina Beach was a nice experience. We parked and had a 10 yard walk to the beach. Really easy which was fantastic when carrying chairs, umbrellas etc. The only complaint was there were a lot of shells on the beach which was not fun to walk on. Otherwise it was great for the kids as the water was shallow out... More

It is almost ludicrous to review one of the most well known and popular beaches in Florida. We are from NJ where you pay to park and pay again to go on the beach. Here there is sheltered parking under the trees, rest rooms, a small but busy restaurant on the beach, the whitest sand you can find and nice... More

We were told this was a good shelling beach and we did find some nice ones. You must check tide charts and get up early. Cross the Cortez bridge by 10:00 am and you will not sit in much spring break traffic. Lots of parking, outdoor showers and changing shacks. There is lounge chair rentals at the concession stand. $6:00... More

Tree lined beach with broad sand area, long spaces for walking, good swimming and lots of available parking. Go native or walk down the beach just a little way for a bar, snack bar and concession stand above the norm. Plenty of places to change. Trolly runs from the parking lot for a quarter all the way north to the... More

Incredibly soft white sand. Rated fifth in the world for sand, from what I read. Open expanse of beach with easy access and free parking. The drive in and out from Bradenton can be slow due to lots of traffic on the island road depending on time of day. But what a beautiful spot.Clean change rooms available close to parking... More
