Whether you’re in search of fashion, original art, gourmet goodies or a new way to treat chronic pain, allergies or insomnia, The Shops of Olde Marco are Marco Island’s retail cornerstone. Located in the Historic District on the northern end of Marco Island, this collection of colorful shops, boutiques, and retailers (including clothing stores, a gift shop featuring home goods and jewelry, an art gallery, fish market, a salon and holistic health service center) captures the essence of our island lifestyle. As part of the Collection of Olde Marco - which includes the Shops and the adjacent Olde Marco Island Inn & Suites, be sure to check out the original Inn on site, which is currently home to Reception for the Inn and the Bistro Soleil Restaurant. It originally opened with 20 sleeping rooms, and a two-story outhouse, as reported by Ripley in his "Believe it or Not" column...the only one of its kind. The Inn stands as one of southwest Florida's oldest buildings...if not the oldest!

This area of a handful of mainly small restaurants is tucked behind The Inn of Marco Island. The way to find it is to drive to the inn, park and follow the signs for "Shops". A few clothing stores, an art gallery, gelato, hair stylist...More

There's really nothing here to look at other than one or two shops. There are a couple of restaurants that would be worth eating at but I would advise only going there if you plan to eat there. This area really should be beefed up...More

This could be such a cute spot to poke around and shop for memories of Marco Island. My daughter and I went into the 3 open shops this morning - one sparsely inventoried with soaps and scrubs, one with resort wear and another with jewelry...More

We thought we would hit olde Marco for a bit of difference but was disappointed when we got there. Shops were shut and it was only 3/4 in the afternoon. Couldn't find much about it either.

Read the reviews here and thought we should check it out. Ito start, it's tiny, a handful of shops and some restaurants. Everything was closed except for a restaurant.

This area looks very quaint but in terms of shops I didn't rate it. I was very disappointed. I thought there would have been local island goods but whilst some shops were closed when we were there, those that were opened didn't sell anything special...More
