This reservoir adjoining to the road towards Bellary from Sandur is an awesome spot for a day out .Be it solo,family or friends it's a good place for nature lovers and also don't miss kumaraswamy temple which is also in Sandur.

A pleasant spot to chill out with best buddies. .. Naarihalla reservoir is around 10kms from Sandur town towards Torangal, Bellary. The backwaters of the dam with serene hills in the background is an excellent location. Tourism is not developed here, for reasons unknown. The...More

Sandur is a small town about 40 kms from Hospet in Bellary District. The drive from Hospet to Sandur itself is excellent on Cement roads. We had been there in August 2016 and the entire vicinity of hills was covered like a green carpet. Naarihalla...More

Sandur town is a valley surrounded by iron ore mountains. The Narihalla reservoir is very huge and scenic. Some places the water body has small hills at the centre which reminded me of James Bond islands in Thailand/Vietnam Halaong Bay
