The trip was a quick walk and interesting as it is in the middle of the city rather than the typical battlefield. The guide with information regarding each location was helpful and can be picked up at the visitor's center.

Being interested in American History and the Civil War , we found this town to have kept its history alive. The town has been maintained in Victorian style as much as possible and the people are friendly.

Very interesting bit of local Civil War history. A nice walking tour, but avoid durin ghot weather. It runs along a busy street so need to be careful with little kids.

We enjoy Civil war sites and this was interesting in that it was on the streets of the town..Behind the Episcopal church are burials of those who fought bravely. Two tombs covered with Cockle Shells. :)

The most interesting thing about this is the old church and cemetery. It is just not that much to it. There is no real battlefield as where the battle took place is now a shopping center.

Was interesting-- had read actual accounts of battle while staying at the Hinson House B&B-- The battle itself was horrific- but an informative peice of American History
