Really nice area if you're looking to paddle down the river. Several trails in the area. Some areas not as well maintained and marked as others but definitely would go again. Might pass if there's been a lot of rain recently. Parts of the trail...More

Took our 17 month old grandson for a nature hike. We hiked the shady hike along the Chipola River ‘left’ of the parking area near the boat launch. Flat terrain but not really stroller friendly. The trail was easy to walk but narrow with exposed...More

I only visited this area with a friend, but he and another friend went canoeing and scuba diving here and had a good time.

Takes a little bit to get there, but well worth it. This is right off the Chipola River and a lovely place to spend a summer day.

If you are looking for a trail "off the beaten path," this place is for you. However, that is not what I expected. While my boyfriend and I aren't avid hikers, we did not expect to have to struggle to continue on the right path....More

This is the perfect place for the traveler looking for solitude in nature. The place is so quiet and still, with the beautiful Chapola River running right next to the trail.

Right along the Chipola River, quiet when we were there, pet friendly, hiking paths we could only take short stroll on with older dog, had picnic by the river, small launch area for kayaks/canoes.

It’s a leisurely stroll besides very pretty river. Nothing special but we were already on Marianna and want to get outside. The kids would probably enjoy it. We did see a copperhead camouflaged across the trail.
