Easy drive or walk if you wish around the wetlands in Viera Florida. Good selection of water birds and if you are lucky during spring you will find some nesting on top of palm trees.

This spot is a mile west of I-95 on Wicham at Viera (Melborne). Dikes are drivable with most vehicles as long as it is not muddy. Many birds nest and roost here, so lots of photo oops.

Alligators are always there but not always visible. Depends on time of year, air and water temperature. Sunny days when water is cooler the siting are more numerous.
