Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small park. You can rent kayaks. You can see the snouts of the manatees from the shoreline however the guide said it's better to get on a kayak and get out into the middle of the water to see them. We didn't have time to do that.

Not much here, except for a very short trail and a viewing platform, but if you happen to see manatees then its a worthwhile short stop.

We were visiting Florida in summer and wanted to see Manatees. We had tried two other places with no luck but straight away at this place (even though it was mid day and warm) there were a number of manatee that could be viewed from the shore. This place is free and is just a car park and very short walk with a small viewing platform.

There was a business renting out kayaks to go on the water which might be a fun option for those with more time. We just walked and looked. So glad we went

We saw 5 manatees on a hot afternoon! So they are really there, it’s not just a name. Also saw a small alligator.

This is simply a neighborhood park. There's a small playground and some viewing decks. There's not much to it, but a nice view of the river and a quiet, peaceful place to stop and have a picnic lunch.

We visited this park with the hopes of seeing manatees in the wild. We did not see any, but we did enjoy the beauty of the park & the wonderful views of the intercoastal.

We stopped in for a brief visit after spending a bit of time at the nearby Sams House on Merritt Island. It was a very hot July afternoon, so I was surprised when we spotted two manatee in the cove- even if they were only sticking their noses up for air. We didn't go far in, but there are some trails around the cove for further viewing. I spoke with a local resident who says he kayaks there often and typically does see manatee. I'd like to return in the winter when it is cooler and the manatee are more likely to be active.

We were lucky and saw three manatees as soon as we arrived. The girl at the visitors center recommended we try this location. Not much there. Small parking lot and small viewing area. But I finally saw a manatee.
