If you're a nature lover, this place is a must! It's a 7-mile, 1-way drive through a salt marsh and there are oodles of opportunities to photograph the local flora and fauna. It's $5 for a 1 day pass if you're in a vehicle, so...More

I loved it, but I think Wetlands are some of the prettiest places on earth. I went both at sunrise and sunset in December. The bird life is abundant.

This is a must-see spot for anyone interested in birds! I've traveled this drive three times and never tire of it. I usually see up to 20 varieties of birds, including herons, egrets, roseate spoonbills, ibises, wood storks, and created cormorants. We also see at...More

Our main focus on this wildlife drive was to see the manatees that frequent this area in the winter time by a waterway inlet adjacent to a bridge that opens up for boat traffic. The manatees were definitely in the area, but they are not...More

Unfortunately we were only here in the heat of the day so saw mainly birds. Perhaps a visit earlier or later in the day would give a better opportunity to see land and water animals.

We were looking for something to do and this was on trip advisor so we decided to go. It was midday so most of the wildlife we seen were birds. Beautiful countryside.

Whenever we have guests from up north, I always take them to Black Point. You can always spot birds, but winter time brings tons of birds to our area. In the spring, you can spot lots of alligators. At different times, I have spotted, otters,...More

Saw thousands of birds, some gators, wild boar, and nesting Bald Eagles. Well maintained level drive with numerous pull offs. Convenient to Merritt Island Refuge visitors center.

We spent the morning driving through, it was beautiful. Tons of birds and a couple alligators. A great way to see the nature around us. Too hot to walk the trails, but we drove slowly enough to take it all in.
