The design District is growing with new buildings that will give the true meaning of architecture. It is a great place to see modern architecture and unusual buildings. Want to buy luxury home improvement products, you can do that here.

All stores are high end, no prices in window and look down their noses at you if you enter and clearly not buying. Only for the wealthy !

Visited during Art Basil. Very interesting and you don't need to be a designer. It allows you to appreciate.

Huge selection of very expensive luxury goods. Bring your black card to shop some of the trendiest and most expensive international brands. Free to visit but VERY expensive if you buy.

Miami Design District is a nicely designed space with some interesting outdoor art. But unless you are willing to pay big $$$$ for even the smallest of items, this place is not for you. Even a leather luggage tag will run you $85.00. The center is still under construction and only has one place to grab a bite to eat... More

There are lots of high end stores in a fairly new district near Wynwood. If you're not a shopper, you won't find much of interest.

Interesting way to spend an afternoon window shopping in an outdoor setting. All of the top of the line designers have shops here, much like Rodeo Drive in Hollywood. Clean and safe place to stroll. Most people were walking around, not really shopping. Sales people looked bored.

Spent 90 minutes walking around the Design District. The central portion (laid out like a shopping mall) has many brand names...many of which I did not recognize. Lots of watch shops. Also brands like Dior, Armani, Louie Vuitton, Cartier Fendi, etc. Had a coffee shop. Away from the "mall" are shops scattered along the streets. Also a design school. The... More

It's pleasant looking buildings, although this is a shopping block. We liked strolling around. Street parking is $1.75 per hour, but we stayed for only 30 min - it was enough for short walk on Dec 25 when everything was closed.
