Other than the beaches! The Wolfsonian is an icon of history, art and cultural analysis: smart and fun! On a cloudy day, head over.

Amazing colour, walls and floors plus a beautiful well before you enter the lifts. We really enjoyed viewing the exhibition and enjoyed the fact that there was hardly anyone there so we could view the artefacts at a leisurely pace. There's also a lovely cafe inside!

We thought we should visit at least one museum/gallery whilst in Miami and chose this one. It was a really good choice. A variety of exhibits are spread over a number of floors. Covering fairly modern developments in art and design the whole thing felt relevant and everything was interesting. We spent an enjoyable 90 minutes or so here and... More

Very nice collection and very well presented. We thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits at this museum, as well as the staff. Great Art Deco and early 20th century modernist movement collection. We were very pleasantly surprised.

I came specifically to see the Harry Clarke stained glass - and have to say whoever designed the display should be shot. Poor back lighting and strong front lighting are no way to display stained glass; add to that protective glazing (why?) of highly reflective float and it is impossible to see the glass as it should be. However, I... More

Popped in here while wandering the art deco district and found it really interesting. It's not the biggest museum, but has plenty of interesting artefacts. I loved the mural stories on the middle floor personally

So many things that draw your attention, even if the subject was not on your menu when entering. Not good for kids or short attention span adults. Art, history, culture, and very nice gift shop and café.

On a pre-conference visit to Miami Beach, I spent an enlightening couple of hours in this fine museum. The young woman at the front desk was courteous and helpful, suggesting I start at the top of the museum and work my way down. Both the temporary and permanent exhibitions were fascinating, I especially loved the ways they have articulated Art... More
