Stone crabs are s Florida delicacy and Joes as good as any one and with must sides to have are the creamed spinich with garlic and the fried pototes with fried onions. The rolls are good espically the dark ones with onions. But what blew me away was the apple pie for desert! The Best apple pie ever a Must... More

Those with an interest in Miami Beach’s lauded trove of Art Deco buildings, built between 1923 and 1943, might want to take a guided walking tour of the historic district. Several tours are available and include stepping inside some of the interiors, listening to stories about the pioneers, movers and shakers and criminal element that influenced the development of the... It's fun to wander around this beautiful area. Even better with an architecture guidebook or other information.

The building are nice to look at. But the blocks and blocks of restaurants, each with an annoying person trying to get you to eat there was distracting. All of the food and menus looked the same. If you want to avoid the crowds and the annoying restaurant barkers, try going early in the morning.

Had a wonderful time staying in this district during our recent visit to South Beach. We loved staying in this popular area. The HGV spot in this area was very nice and we loved being in this district for our stay! Every day was wonderful to walk around and feel like you were in a different time!

Block after block of meh restaurants, many blaring loud music. At night the outdoor seating and host stations block the sidewalk. Restaurant staff tries to pull you in like at a New Orleans strip club. Construction is everywhere as are cheap beach shops. This is a tourist trap.

Took the walking tour with earbuds after visiting the museum. Panel at museum suggested tour. Doesn't say, but most hotels can also be visited from inside. Tiffany bar with great view. If you like art deco architecture, this area can't be missed.
