Huge Drinks Not Worth The Price!

We were lured into Cardoza's by the huge drinks that everyone had on their tables, however, the $40 price was not at all expected ( or explained)!!! We tried the Cuban sandwich... read more

The Cardozo, now owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan was first seen on screen in the Frank Sinatra film Hole in the Head with Edward G. Robinson. very popular spot among locals and tourists alike!

We ate lunch at the restaurant in April of 2015. The food was okay, but we didn't feel it was worth the price. We were surprised to find a $30 service fee on the bill. The waitress informed us the fee was for the kitchen staff and it didn't include her tip. According to her all the restaurants on Ocean... More

I was trapped by the huge "mojitos" I saw from the sidewalk on Ocean Drive! The place is a dreadful tourist trap! Service, meals and drinks are not worth the price they charge! I felt ripped-off after receiving the bill! You are warned: go somewhere else on Ocean Drive or nearby streets!

I'm from Brazil, but am studying in Florida and went there about a week ago. When the check came I handed the waiter my Travel Money card and a few minutes later she came with a slip that said declined. I did not notice the slip mentioned 'duplicate transaction', so I handed her another card and it went through. Later... More

Avoid at all costs our cab driver said only fools eat here and he was right the restaurant was half empty and I am not surprised the service was awful no care because they already include a 19% tip in the bill . The food is passable but one of the waiters a young short person seemed to think he... More

Part of any restaurant is far and above...at least decent service, this didn't have that. The bathroom was disgusting, sink broke. Our bill was 125.00 for three people for lunch! We should never had to pay a tip for such horrid service! Just don't waste your time here! If the hotel acts like the resturaunt, stay else where.

Sat us quickly at outside table, great South Beach view. Had the seafood paella and the mixed Spanish meats with olives. Delicious and good presentation. Our waiter was a little distracted, never brought my glass of Sangria I ordered and when reminded he acted like he didn't really care. And then proceeded to present our check with a $26.99 charge... Loved the food. Just stopped in unplanned. Good variety since my husband and I have different tastes. Good happy hour too.

Nice atmosphere and good service. The ceviche was delicious. They will hand you a drink menu with no size or price options. The drink they bring you will be 60 ounces and $60. Always check your bill on Miami for included gratuity and ask about drink sizes before ordering. Avoid this restaurant.
